The Power behind Sunnah: An Incident

When telephones were just still introduced in the world, and calls were still connected via the exchange. King Faisul Marhum of Saudi Arabia invited a top telephone engineer from Pakistan to set up their telephone system. The same engineer took a Jamaat in those days to Japan. There were hardly any Muslims and no Masjids. There approached a priest of a Buddhist temple requesting accommodation to stay there. He welcomed them with open arms.

They asked how much he will charge. He said, “You are Godly men, you stay here as long as you wish and free of charge.” On the 2nd or 3rd day, he and his whole Family accepted Islam! He told them I know you are going to ask me why I have accepted Islam. Let me tell you before you ask me. For this, give me the strongest man in your jamaat, who is physically and spiritually the strongest.

They chose one person. He asked him to stand facing the wall. In a minute, he dropped him to the ground from a distance by his power, which he acquired by his exercises. He then said, “You have seen my power, which I have acquired by my spiritual exercises, which is termed as Riyaadhaat! But in these 1-2 days I have seen that every Sunnat which you people are practising on, is much, much more powerful.

May Allah Ta'ala grant the understanding of Sunnat and Taufeeq of Amal. Ameen!
