Dua when superstitious thoughts enter the mind

O Allâh, there is no goodness except that which comes from You; and there is no bad omen except what comes from You; and there is no deity besides You. (Ahmad)

I am the servant of Allâh. Whatever Allâh wills will come to pass. There is no strength except with Allâh. None brings goodness except Allâh. None removes evil besides Allâh. I testify that Allâh Ta'ala has power over everything.

When any superstitious thought enters the mind, one should recite this duâ and thereafter continue on his way. (Marasîl of Abu Dawûd)
