WHEN A TOWN OR CITY COMES INTO VIEW

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَظْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَقْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الرِّيَاحِ وَمَا ذَرَيْنَ، وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَمَا أَضْلَلْنَ، نَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِهَا، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ أَهْلِهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا
O Allâh! Rabb of the seven heavens and what they overshadowed, Rabb of the seven earths and what they bear, Rabb of the devils and whosoever they have misled, Rabb of the winds and what they have blown. We beg of You the goodness of this settlement and its inhabitants and we seek Your protection from the evils of this settlement and its inhabitants and from what evil is contained therein.
