RECITING ISM A’ZAM WHEN MAKING DUÂ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

O Allâh, I beg of You as I bear witness that You are Allâh; there is none worthy of worship except You; You are unequalled, free from want, one that does not beget nor is He begotten and none is equal unto Him. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud)
