No Bad luck, No Omens, No Contagion

"There is no contagiousness in diseases, no evil omen, no (superstition of the month of) safar, and no (ghostly) owl.
Pre-Islamic Arabs believed certain birds, days, or movements signaled bad luck. Islam abolished this: nothing can harm or benefit you except with the will of Allah Ta'ala.
وَلَا صَفَر - Arabs believed the month Şafar brought bad luck, especially for marriage or travel. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) clarified: All months are equal in barakah unless Allah specifies.
وَلَا هَامَة - Arabs believed that after a person died, their soul would turn into a bird (like an owl) and haunt people. Islam completely rejected this false belief in spirits roaming the earth or causing harm without permission from Allah.
"If Allah afflicts you with harm, none can remove it except Him; and if He intends good for you, there is none who can repel His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful."
- Surah Yunus (10:107)
