عثمان ابن عفان : أن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال ليس لابن آدم حق في سوى هذه
الخصال بيت يسكنه وثوب يواري عورته وجلف الخبز والماء
Hadrat Uthman h narrates that Rasulullah g is reported to have said, “The son of Adam has no right except in
these things, a house to reside in, clothing to conceal one’s body, dry bread
and water.”
It has been recorded in the Mirqaat the commentary of Mishkaat Sharif that a person that suffices on the above mentioned Halaal bounties won’t be questioned on the day of Qiyaamah regarding these things, as these are the necessary requirements of a person. Whatever goods of enjoyment and luxuries that one prepares besides these above mentioned things, then he will be questioned for it, and he will be required to make Shukr for them.
