Duaa Seven:
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ أَعِذْنِي مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْر
O Allah, the Rabb of Jibreel, Mikaa’eel and Israafeel (Alayhimus Salaam), save me from the heat of the fire of Jahannum and the punishment of the grave
Duaa Eight:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُرَدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ العُمُرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ
O Allah, I seek protection in You from cowardice, and I seek protection in You from being returned to extreme old age (where one becomes senile), and I seek Your protection from the trials of this world and I seek Your protection from the punishment of the grave.
Duaa Nine:
رَبِّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ (أَوْ تَجْمَعُ) عِبَادَكَ
O my Rabb, save me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect (or gather) Your servants
Duaa 7 Hadith:
وعن عائشة قالت: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول في دبر كل صلاة: اللهم رب جبريل، وميكائيل، وإسرافيل، أعذني من حر النار، وعذاب القبر. قلت: رواه النسائي غير قولها: في دبر كل صلاة.رواه الطبراني في الأوسط عن شيخه: علي بن سعيد الرازي، وفيه كلام لا يضر، وبقية رجاله ثقات.(مجمع الزوائد رقم 16969)
Hazrat Aaisha (Radhiyallahu Anha) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) would recite the following duaa after every salaah:
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيلَ، وَمِيكَائِيلَ، وَإِسْرَافِيلَ، أَعِذْنِي مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْر
:Duaa 8 Hadith
عن عمرو بن ميمون الأودي قال: كان سعد يعلم بنيه هؤلاء الكلمات كما يعلم المعلم الغلمان الكتابة ويقول: إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يتعوذ منهن دبر الصلاة: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الجبن، وأعوذ بك أن أرد إلى أرذل العمر، وأعوذ بك من فتنة الدنيا، وأعوذ بك من عذاب القبر (بخاري رقم 2822)
Hazrat Amr bin Maymoon (Rahimahullah) reports: “Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqaas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) would teach his children the following duaa in the manner a teacher teaches the children how to write, and he would say, ‘Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to seek protection from these things (by making the following duaa) after salaah:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبْنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُرَدَّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ العُمُرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ
:Duaa 9 Hadith
عن البراء رضي الله عنه قال: كنا إذا صلينا خلف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، أحببنا أن نكون عن يمينه، يقبل علينا بوجهه، قال: فسمعته يقول: رب قني عذابك يوم تبعث-أو تجمع-عبادك. (مسلم رقم 709)
Hazrat Baraa’ (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports: “Whenever we used to perform salaah behind Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), we would prefer to be on his right side. (The reason for us preferring to be on his right side was that) he would turn his mubaarak face towards us (those who were seated on the right side after salaah).” Hazrat Baraa’ (Radhiyallahu Anhu) further says: “I heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) recite the following duaa (after salaah):
رَبِّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ (أَوْ تَجْمَعُ) عِبَادَكَ
